This page explains the rights you have over the personal information that Pineapple Analyst AI LLC holds about you and how to exercise them. Various United States privacy laws grant these rights, and we extend them to all of our users regardless of the state in which you live. This page supplements our Privacy Policy.

To protect your information, we verify your identity before acting on most requests. Our checks are reasonable and proportionate to the sensitivity of the request — for a signed-in account holder, matching the request to your account is often enough, and we may ask for additional confirmation for deletion or sensitive information. We collect only what is necessary to verify you and delete any verification materials afterward.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may ask the agent to provide proof that you gave them written permission, and we may ask you to verify your own identity or confirm the authorization directly with us. We will not require you to provide a power of attorney to use an authorized agent.
We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we may extend that period once by up to an additional 45 days and will tell you why. You may make an access request free of charge up to twice in any 12-month period.
You can request a copy of the personal information in your workspace, or request it in a portable, machine-readable format (such as CSV or JSON) that you can move to another service. Because we tailor each export to your workspace and verify your identity first, we fulfill access and portability requests on request rather than through a self-service download button. After we verify you, we will deliver your information within the time frame above.
When you delete your account, we permanently delete your workspace data across our systems — including the application database, your analytics datasets, the raw data archives retrieved from your connected sources, and the access tokens for those sources (which we also revoke). We instruct our service providers to do the same. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
We retain only the minimum information that the law permits us to keep:
We do not use any retained information for any other purpose.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. Because we do not do these things, there is nothing for you to opt out of. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal automatically.
Connecting a data source involves sensitive information, including the access credentials and tokens that authorize the connection. We use this information solely to connect to and synchronize the data you asked us to analyze, and for security and fraud prevention — never to profile you or for advertising. If you live in California, you may direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information; if you live in another state, you may withdraw your consent to processing sensitive information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or provide you a different level or quality of service because you made a request.
If we decline your request, we will explain why and how to appeal. To appeal, reply to our decision or email us at jack@pineappleanalyst.ai. We will respond to your appeal in writing within 60 days (within 45 days for Colorado residents). If we deny your appeal, we will tell you how to submit a complaint to your state Attorney General.
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described above under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended. You may make an access or portability request up to twice in a 12-month period free of charge. As stated above, we do not sell or share your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising or for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
